Long time no see.

Long time no see.

Hello, don't know if I am still welcome after all this time but thought I would take a chance.

The last year hasn't been good, my husband who has Enphysema has been really poorly and at the moment is in Papworth hospital.
It takes an hour to get there, and although I drive I don't like the road to there so have to rely on my daughter.
I have to do everything for him now, so at times when I could get on line I just nod off instead.

But on a happier note I get to see my children and grandchildren regularly and they keep me going.
What can cheer you up more than a little one coming into your house, smiling and runnig into your arms.

I still remember you all and sorry once again for my prolonged absence.
I live where its booooootiful

So sorry about your news Liz. Pleased to hear from you again and very pleased your family are helping to keep things on a even keel. We can understand your need to nod off but do try to keep in touch whenever you can. You certainly do live in a lovely part of the country. Take care and look after yourself. cheers Penny :grouphug: :grouphug:

That is bad news......but it is good that you have family to help you. Little children are such a blessing.

Gosh, thanks everyone for welcoming me back

Sorry to say hubby isn't going to get better, he knows this and I know this but we try to forget about it and get on with life.

But on a more cheerful note we do have some funny moments, its not all gloom.

Its one of my grandsons birthdays tomorrow, he will be three (I was a late starter and so was she ) and they are coming at the weekend to visit.
I went to the hospital with my eldest daughter yesterday and my little grandaughter who is only two and never keeps still for a minute, she wanted to sit on hubby's knee, so I picked her up and she must have sat there half an hour, babbling away to him

Will try and pop in more often and hope you all have a nice day

Hi Liz.
SO very sorry to know that hubby will never recover but its good to know that you are both staying positive.

I bet hubby loved every minute of your granddaughters chattering and it probably did him more good than all the medication. :)
