Just heard, Eve's back in hospital, she has a chest infection and is in a lot of pain from her broken shoulder, she doesn't know how long she'll be in, but she's in the same ward as before should anybody want to send a card to cheer her up

I'll let you all know as soon as I have further news :dunno:

Thanks for that Dejavou, what a shame, she does seem to be in the wars lately. I don't wish to be a pest but she always puts a post on when I put a food office report. and I missed one so I always wonder if she is o.k. Many thanks Penny

Oh no not again poor, poor Evie. Life is so unfair. Here's hoping they can put what is wrong right and she'll be home again soon.

Best wishes Evie, my prayers are with you. :grouphug:

SO sorry to read this about Eve.
I wish her well and I hope she will soon be back with us.

I too finished up at the hospital again yesterday because I blacked out in the car as my lovely d-i-l was taking me shopping.
They still dont know what caused it after being wired up to various monitors to find out if it was my heart. :dunno:

You're not a pest Penny for noticing Eve wasn't about, I'm glad you did, I was going to ring her today to catch up, but she beat me to it and rang me yesterday evening.

Maisie, sorry to hear about your latest blackout, hopefully the docs will get to the bottom of the problem soon

Poor Eve, I hope the hospital strength antibiotics clear your chest infection. All my very best wishes.

Maisie, maybe you are going to need that pacemaker after all? My friend had similar symptoms to you and she had a pacemaker fitted... problem solved.
This was 10 years ago when she was in her 50's and she's fine now.

Thanks everyone.
I feel guilty now for saying anything because the main posting was started for Rowan.
I just hope she soon gets better and I DO wish they had the same system there as they have in the Leicestershire hospitals whereby folks could send e-mails to the patients.
I know when I was in with a broken hip and arm the lovely e-mails that we sent into me were really heartening and I am sure they helped me to get better a lot quicker.
Does anyone know the address of the hospital and her ward no so that we can send a get well card?

I am very glad you rely on hearing from her, Penny. One way for everyone to know something may be happening to Eve.

My heart goes out to you, Eve. You're having a really rotten time.

So very sorry to hear Eve is back in hospital again. I do hope they can get rid of her chest infection and sort her shoulder out very quickly to get her out of pain and back home again!

Sorry to hear you had another blackout, Maisie. Maybe they do need to reconsider the Pacemaker!
