Except Personal Attacks

This weekend.

Our last weekend was frantic... what with going to a wedding fayre with future in-laws and spending the day with them ... then getting packed ready for my break in Wales... This weekend we're doing nothing at all except maybe a ramble tomorrow if the weathers ok.

Have you got any weekend plan?

This weekend I am mostly doing - nothing. (Same as I do every other bliddy weekend)

This place is hoaching with tourists at the weekend, and we "locals" just keep out their way.

Got the latest Mark Billingham from the library though, so no doubt after the hoovering etc. will be sitting on my vast behind, engrossed...........

*takes an excitement pill*

Farmers' Market this morning and then preparing to take my family away on Monday for a weeks holiday. Thanks to Prozac Amy will hopefully be able to last and enjoy the week, her first attempt at staying anywhere other than at home for over 2 years.

If the rain holds off I might go to see "Tamara Drewe" this afternoon. I hate sitting in a cinema in wet togs.

I hope you all have a great time, VM. I wasn't sure whether you had been away or not. Let's hope it stays dry.

I am on my own this weekend and am having a lazy day at home.

Tomorrow afternoon I have a ticket for "An Evening with Pam Ayres" at the local theatre. I was lucky; it is just a one off matinee and when I had completed my transaction by phone on Friday morning there was only one more vacant seat in the house - right at the top of the gods!

Well the rain did hold off and I did go to see it. Not brilliant but quite good. Nice to see a British film with, mostly, British actors, not at all brash and worth a visit.
I should mention (boast) my nephew Kristyan Mallett did the prosthetics. He also did the prosthetics for Facejacker and Harry Potter.
