Good Bye

No I'm not going for good but I will be away from the Shade of the Rowan Tree for a week.

I’m preparing to take my family away on Monday for a week’s holiday. Thanks to Prozac Amy will hopefully be able at last to enjoy a week away. This is her first attempt at staying anywhere other than at home for over 2 years so we have everything crossed. As for Nicky and Beth well they have more than earned a break.

It is a bitter sweet and sometimes tearful time for me. Gina was one of the world’s best holiday list makers and packers, she never forgot anything not even a toothpick, consequently I never got involved, one of the few tasks we didn’t share. It does bring back memories happy bur at the same time sad.

We are only going to Centre Parcs some 50 odd miles away; we decided to stay near just in case for Amy’s sake.

Evie behave yourself while I’m away and carry on getting better and Viv enjoy young Charlie and the company of Trixie, I hope the alarm gets you peace of mind.

For those of you who have been on holiday to Norfolk in recent weeks well sorry about the weather but that’s Norfolk for you.

The bad news is I shall be back in a week and I might even make another posting or two before I go if I ever finish the dratted packing and that opened bottle of red liquid.

Have a good time, I'm not too sure whom you are speaking of, but I hope you all have a very enjoyable time.
