What a Fantasmaglorious day so why so sad?

It was that wonderful thing an early autumn day when a long country walk would have been the order of the day finishing with a glass or two on the terrace. The evening spent over a long unhurried slow cooked meal. The only missing ingredient would have been the lack of fallen leaves for my leaf scuffling champion Gina.
