What a good idea. I've just bought magnifying stuff from a site called Magnifico - one of which has a bookstand thingy - my eyesight is dreadful.

You are right about the iPad having a bigger and sharper screen but also much more expensive. It is a proper computer and does much more than the Kindle, Sony and other readers.

I am thinking of getting one as 'back up'. With a wireless keyboard and mouse, I would not lose any work stuff, if my PowerMac laptop went phut.
