How could you ever spend that much - even me - even twenty years ago!!

Actually that would complicate my life, I don't want that kind of money. Wouldn't mind being able to give some away though.

Its not me Corrie. :huffin:

Thats exactly what I would do Eve. Give it away.
Especially to my favourite charities.

Thats what would give me greatest pleasure...giving most of it away! Family, friends, charities, good causes. Just leave enough for a wonderful life which hopefully would remain healthy so we could enjoy it every step of the way.

Totally agree with you ladies. As long as you can pay the bills and have good health and peace of mind, what more can you ask for ?

Wonder how much a new heart and lungs would cost. Probably the price is too high - and its not money.

Still I would love to give to those that need it.

It's a pity they didn't have more chances of sharing this ridiculas amount of money.
They should make 4 and 5 lines a bigger amount and a little less for the 6 lines. This would give more folk a chance of winning.

Said in the paper (must be true) the winner is a pensioner, whose husband threw the ticket away, without checking. She uses the same numbers each week and her the post office knows her well. 'He interferes with everything !!!!!' she complained.

I wonder if she has enough money to buy a nice dog house for him?

Should I ever come into a sizeable amount, I would set it up as a charitable trust. Would be fun.

On teletext yesterday it said it had been claimed and paid out.

The capital sum has been earning nearly £9,000 a day in interest!

One thing I would do (if it were me - and it wasn't) is set up a foundation to help local children in impoverished circumstances achieve their full potential - which they are being prevented from doing currently because of their domestic circumstances.

Yes, I agree the top prize should be capped and the rest of the money accumulated should be paid out in a much greater amount for folk with lesser winning numbers.

Much better to do that - spreads the money about which is what this country needs. I would also stop all these programmmes doing up private houses free - let's see what they can make out of a council house!!

No rich folk allowed to enter money compretitions on telly.
