Am I the only one who remembers that time, in the early 1970s?

Even in the extreme south west, it was dark until 10 am. There were no street lights in the village where I lived (still none there), the little school children crept out with their torches, in the pitch black.

Computers, bedside clocks, telly, DVD, phones .... all reset themselves. Leaving the cooker, microwave, kitchen clock on the wall, wrist watches, car clock and all sorts of other clocks and gyzmos. How do we accumulate so many time pieces?

Then the Time Lords should reset ALL time, on all gyzmos, automatically and save us all the hassle.
