How do you choose your lottery numbers?

Postby mo » Sat Oct 30, 2010 1:53 pm

I bought this bingo set at a boot sale last year and removed all of the numbers after 49 and use the others to give me my lotto numbers.
It's battery operated and one press swirls and mixes all the little balls up, and the other lets each ball fall through the funnell one at a time.
I haven't won yet, but it's by far fun doing this then choosing the numbers every week, also the Grandkids love taking part.

I have been doing the same line from day one - a combination of mine and tervor's birthdays....have won the occasional £10.00.......can't stop now though, as the day I do those numbers will come up.

Love the idea of the bingo machine - good fun!

More fun doing it that way Mo. I rarely do the lottery - when I do I use the birthdays.

My dad was a bean counter with a love for statistics (!?) He used the same numbers for the football pools and asked me to use the same numbers, which I later adapted for the lottery. One pound a week, never more, never less. In his memory.

He played the same numbers for some forty years, I have played the same numbers for some thirty years, thus far. He had a few minor wins and so have I. Combined winnings would not buy a decent second-hand bird cage.
