Warning - don't fill in this survey

Please read the following - ignore at your peril. Bin the form!

BBC News wrote:
N-Power, Unilever and TalkTalk are among the many companies sponsoring a survey which has been delivered to a million households in the UK. They want you to fill in the questionnaire detailing your personal information and leave it on your doorstep, in an unsealed paper bag. But Watchdog has spoken to security experts who say it's gold dust to burglars and identity thieves

These days I avoid like the plague anything that requires my 'personal details', no matter what blandishments, special offers and discounts, they are supposed to offer.

Me too - I don't give out any information on the phone or the internet and even if I hadn't seen the Watchdog programme, I wouldn't have filled in one of those forms. Bliddy cheek anyway!!

I also am vary wary on what I write on internet forms.
Even one forum I joined wanted to know my post code before it would register me. Why?
If I find a charity form wants to know too much about me then I come away from it.

We have always answered the phone by just saying, Hello, so whenever anyone dialed the wrong number and asked what the number was my husband always used to ask - which number were you calling.

Yes , Hazel, I do the same. Even looking for a second-hand car in Autotrader they ask for a postcode, so I type the postcode of the local Royal Mail Depot.
