Ball Dyson.

Our Upright Dyson has almost had it so we are thinking of buying one of the ball Dysons. Have any of our members got one? If so are they worth buying?
We have a Henry plus but I keep that upstairs save lugging a cleaner up and down stairs.

I thought of buying one of those types when our last cleaner gave up on us, but after pondering for while I thought the Dyson-Ball was a gimmick and it wouldn't get under any chairs or stools, despite it being able to turn corners well, so I think the Henry head was far superior.

I've had my ball dyson for quite a while - does everything I want it to, and goes round corners. I now find 'ordinary' ones hard work!!!

The head goes under most things, but there are attachments as well for getting into smaller spaces.

I've still got an older type Dyson and it's working well... I know someone who has got a ball type and she raves about it.
My last 2 vacs have been Dyson and my next one will be... I think they're brilliant.

I've been thinking about a ball Dyson as well. Waiting until my other one gives up the ghost!

The tip is full of broken and discarded Dysons and people talk about - my last three Dysons - They cannot be very good?

I've had the same 'ooooooooover for many years and always going strong.

I have a friend who replaces her Dyson frequently - not because there is anything wrong with the 'old' one, just that a newer model has come out!!!!
She does pass her old ones on, but has to have the newest model.......maybe she is not alone :dunno:

I used to have Dysons and was always pleased with them, but last year we bought a Sebo Felix, reccommended by Good Housekeeping. It does have a bag but it is so easy and flexible to move around. We love it.

I think this is the case - I took my old Dyson upright to the tip, although it was working perfectly well. but I did put a label on it saying it was fully functional.

I now have two cylinder Dysons - one a compact for upstairs and an ordinary one for downstairs.

Will always go for a Dyson.

I'm not keen on the cylinder ones, prefer the upright. My Henry is ideal for the stairs.
June read a review on the Sebo Felix and it wasn't very good.

I have a VAX, must be twenty years old, very sturdy, very easy to clean, works like a dream.

Then a few years ago I was at a house sale and spotted a Kirby behind a door, complete with all tools. Nobody seemed to know what it was, so I 'aggled, till they got pissed off with me and told me to take it and ME out of their sight.

When I got home, with my prize, I phoned the company and found it was a brand new model. Could not believe it.
