It's nothing to do with the Health and Safety Executive. HSE often reply to the papers regarding thesestories, but these are never printed.

I can believe that June. We hear about these things all the time and usually its somebody with little to occupy them thinking these things up.

Let's see
1. The story was in the Daily Wail
2. It might sell a few more papers to the tight corset/bust a blood vessel brigade.

Nuff said.

Living in France I can only buy yesterday's papers so I read them online so they make nothing out of me! I don't doubt lots of stories in lots of newspapers are untrue, so don't assume I'm gullible - you don't even know me! I don't wear tight corsets nor am I in a habit of busting a blood vessel.

Bliddy hell you can't criticise a damned awful newspaper without someone taking umbrage.

I do wonder if it is worth coming here these days.

My husband is a Health and safety advisor/consultant. These stupid directives do not come from the HSE. They are made by people fearing litigation.
Obviously someone has done a risk assessment and decided that children and hot drinks don't go together. So all they needed to do was have a 'safe' area for the mums to drink their coffee.
