Postby Penny » Mon Dec 13, 2010 10:27 pm

Asda withdraws some cheesecake
Asda has withdrawn its own-brand Strawberry Swirled Cheesecake with a ‘use by’ date of 17 December 2010, because the product contains egg, which is not mentioned on the product label. This means the cheesecake is a potential health risk for anyone with an allergy to egg.

The Agency has issued an Allergy Alert advising anyone with an allergy to egg not to eat this product.
Product detailsThe product being withdrawn is:
Asda Strawberry Swirled Cheesecake, 125g
Use by: 17 December 2010
