I was wrapping Christmas presents up and had an overwhelming desire for one of the chocolate oranges. I ate nearly half of one and hid the rest for tomorrow .... Bang goes the diet!

Carol - that's funny !!

When my sons were little, they always got loads of Easter eggs from family, I am not too fussed about chocolate but one evening I had to have some, so I carefully undid the silver paper, cut a sliver out of each egg, pushed them back together and replaced the packaging.

The toddler did not notice but the five year old said - mummy there's a big crack in my Easter egg - I thought for a bit and said - perhaps it was Concord? -

Reminds me of some years ago.
My hubby used to love clip on ties and had taken a shine to a silvery silk one which he wanted to go with his grey suit for when we went dancing.
I said I would buy it him as an extra for Christmas.
I was wrapping it up and it had too much paper at one end so I decided to cut the extra paper off WITHOUT taking the tie out.
YES youve guessed it because I finished up cutting the ruddy V off the bottom of it. :roflmao:

I called myself all the silly sods under the sun and had to go and get another one.

We had a good laugh about it though Christmas morning. :roflmao: :roflmao:

I had one piece of a chocolate orange the other day, it made me feel sick, so that has put temptation out of the way again

Not a chocolate lover but an ice creamaholic.
Whenever I go uot for a three course meal I always plump for ice cream for my desert. So many different varieties these days.
