Aovely start to Christmas.

I went with our daughter Lisa this morning to the lovely village church where she lives, to see our youngest granddaughter Amelie
and the rest of the local school children at the Christingle service.
Oh so very magical watching the little village children holding the oranges and candles and singing some lovely hymns.
The school has only 40 children ranging from almost 4 years old to nine. (Amelie is the youngest) and there are 2 teachers to each class,
so the children have a lot of individual attention.
It looked a picture walking through the village in the snow back to Lisa's house.







Then on Tuesday I am going with Lisa and Amelie to see the pantomime of Jack and the Beanstalk
then off to Potters leisure hotel in Norfolk over night on Wednesday with twin sis Dorrie.
A lovely start to Christmas.
P.S. Bill is staying indoors in the warm. Ha ha.

Thank you for the photies, Mo, took me right back to when my sons were little, the Nativity Play in the village school, the pantomime in the village hall, the children sledging in the snow on Xmas morning.

Lovely. I think pantomime time is the best part of the year for little ones (and some grown-ups too) My grandchildren have just past the age of panto time. Pity I loved taking them. cheers Penny

Thanks to our youngest daughter Lisa who had Amelie in later life that we can experience all the wonderful things again that we experienced with our children and our older grandchildren who are well past their teenage years.

Lisa lets me buy all her xmas stocking fillers as part of our Christmas gift to Amelie so its so magical for me each Christmas looking for those lovely gifts.

The first picture is of Amelie.
She still has to have her regular weekly injections for her arthritis and regular checks at Addenbrookes but thankfully she is off the steroids and is getting rid of the awful weight and moon shaped face that those steroids give.
