Yes she did Viv but in one of them Evie said "Sorry I'm late Hazel - in hospital again. Hope you had a happy birthday" hence my concern. :grouphug:

I contacted her yesterday, she's still in hospital, breathing difficulties again, but apparently there are lots of infections going around the hospital at the moment, so fingers crossed she avoids those as she's enough problems of her own :grouphug:

I feel so sorry for Evie such a good hearted friend. No one but no one deserves the run of ill health that she has endured. :grouphug:

Evie get better very, very soon :please:

I DO wish they had the system all over the UK whereby an e-mail can be sent to the patient in a hospital.
Leicestershire seems to be the only place that does this.

I know when I had broken my hip and arm and was in Leicester Royal Infirmary it was the biggest and one of the best surprises of my life to be handed SO many lovely e-mails wishing me well from worldwide.
It was also something that helped me get better because SO many folk were rooting for me.

This is how the website is presented and I am sure if folks contacted P.A.L.S at their local hospitals it might catch on to help others who are far worse off than I was healthwise at the time.
Get well soon Evie.

I hope for a good recovery for Evie very soon. I think that is such a good idea Maisie and I too believe it would aid the patient greatly. We've had such trauma this last 2 years with a great niece who spent more time in hospital than out of it. There were times when we had no contact whatsoever with her parents until they could switch their mobile phones back on, to have that facility would have been a real booster.

Hi Eve. I do so hope you are feeling a lot better. You have had more than your fair share in hospital and you don't deserve it at all.
