Looking for ancestry

I've been doing my family for about 3 years now and it is definitely aging me :mrgreen:

I am interested too, have joined one or two sites but to get good info they can be expensive.

There may well be an initial cost, dita.it rather depends on what you have to use as your starting place.

I was going to do a "how to start and where to go from there" thread for beginners, but it might be better if you tell us what starting info you have, and we can tell you what to do with it.

Start a new thread ....it can only help new starters.

Have just started Family Tree on Genes re-united. Having trouble finding my Grandfather on Dads side due to lack of info. Will appreciate any advice on the subject. Have also a cousin who emigrated to Australia in the 60's no idea of her name or where she lives. How do we find out who moved to Australia, is there a record anywhere.?
