Along with the tulips, daffodils, magnolia, etc, here are a few of the beauties currently out in my garden.

Beauties is the correct word.
What lovely colours amongst them.
The weather in Nottingham must have been warmer for longer than it has up here.

I was going to say the same Emm, it's usually warmer down south here. Beautiful colours Monika.

I am lucky to have my gardens, I agree, but we don't know how long we'll be able to keep it up as it's now getting a bit much.

This past year, I've also had to do more for Mum (88 years, in her own bungalow still, but starting not to be able to manage housework and her garden). And, last October, I broke my right wrist and severely dislocated it so much so that I had to have an operation where they put a metal plate in it.

So, as far as the gardening goes, I had 5 months of not being able to do anything in it and I'm still playing catch-up.

I know that we won't be able to look after it much longer and no-one around here can get a gardener for love or money, and we will have to move in the not too distant future.

When that day comes, it will break my heart.

I'm fair jealous Monika - these are beautiful!

I only have a yard now, but I have looked out my pots and stuff ready for planting.
I got some seeds as well today, 5 packets for £1

I love growing things from seed, Monsy. It gives me more satisfaction than going to the garden centre and buying plants( although, of course, I do that as well).

I'm never happier than when I can just potter around on a lovely day like today.

There was a series on TV, Monsy - think it was just on Tyne Tees though.
The whole nine yards.
It was a gardener doing makeovers on people's back yards.
What fantastic results he got.
It is really amazing what can be done to a yard.
