See the Tree Mallow, Monsy?

Ocht! I'm fair green with envy now Margaret! My tree mallow hasn't had any flowers on it since I bought it, although it has grown.

Your Primula Vialli's are wonderful. I had to rescue mine very recently, otherwise there would have been none left at all. They don't like the sun much and they kept getting really dry in my clay soil, back garden

I see that you have yours in pots, so I'll do the same with mine next year

On a gardening forum last year, someone said they get new plants every year as they die from the cold.
So, that is why mine are in pots. Then I wrap them up for the winter.
And, they are so easy to water this way.

Monsy - perhaps it will flower next year. That will be in bloom now till about January.

Up till now, I've just left them in the garden and they've popped up again the next year - but- I've never had anything remotely matching yours. Mine are really puny little things.

Do you think they would keep in a cold grreenhouse with some bubble wrap for protection?

That's what we are talking about, Widge.

They should be fine Monika. In that photo, there is an Acer behind the Primulas. That is moved out of the way, and the Hostas and Primulas, are moved back near to the willow fence there, with bubble wrap, then sacking put round them. And straw is put over the tops.
