Flower Quiz

Postby Monika » Tue Aug 22, 2006 6:28 pm

As this topic is a bit quiet (probably the time of year), does anyone fancy having a go at this?

These three pictures are the centres of well-known flowers.

Can you name them?

Quite correct ... a passion flower

You may need a clue to the other two:

No.2 ....... flowers in early spring.

No.3 ....... It's not strictly the centre of the flower; that actually IS the flower but we never think of it like that.

Not hydrangea, not a tulip.

No.2 ....... the flowers appear before most of the leaves.

No.3 ....... doesn't grow in this country, mine was a houseplant (Lost it  )

You're right, June.

Just no.2 left now.

The most common one of these is the white one.
