What a surprise!

One of my cacti which I have had for years, has never flowered.
I thought it was one of those which didn't.
Then yesterday, I noticed that what I thought was new growth, was turning yellow.
This morning, this gorgeous flower had opened up.

Oh heck, June - I haven't a clue what the name is.
There probably is hope for yours,twinsmum - I have had this cactus for quite a few years.

Ai have had a cactus for more than thirty years...a Christmas cactus that usually flowers in October :banana:

It's a pretty flower Emm. Perhaps it's one of these that flowers every hundred years :twisted:
