This is a portfolio of what happened that day from a photographer who happened to live in the area. Go through the whole series, from the early shock to the bloody dust-covered horror.

There are those who tell me we should not be marking this anniversary. That we should shut up.

See these photos. Then tell me we should ignore this, not mark it, not speak of it.

I'm appalled at the coarseness of some people ... I'm speaking of Europeans, of course, because no American would want this ignored, forgotten, never spoken of.

Never in a million years should it be forgotten, no European I have ever come across wants it to be ignored, forgotten, never spoke of. At this moment in time we are watching a service dedicated to the 67 Brits who also died there. It is without a doubt one of the worst tragedies since mankind began and we in this house will always remember.

What happened in New York was an abomination.

Us, the 'good guys', continue to destroy countries, killing and maiming hundreds of thousands of innocent civilians, men, woman and little children. Using blatant lies, as justification.

Is that not also 'terrorism'?

It is distressing to even think about the effects on the world as all the terrorism carries on, killing, maiming all on the planet. What will be the outcome? Frightening.
