What a Tragedy

Postby Monika » Thu Aug 31, 2006 2:24 pm

Ordinarily, I would despise a man who takes his children in his arms and tries to commit suicide with them by jumping from a building.

However, seeing him being delivered to court, yesterday, in tears and pain, and reading of the tragic events regarding his own father and brothers, I feel such overwhelming sadness for everyone involved in this dreadful affair, that I pray God will forgive him and give strength to his poor mother.

I cannot see how he will ever be able to live any kind of life after this; his self-loathing and regrets will never leave him.

What an appalling tragedy

He seems desperate not to go on living. What a very sad family.

Although most of me says he deserves what he gets, a small part feels very sorry for him. He was either very drunk or out of his mind at the time.

He had no right to end his wee boy's life, and the trauma will stay with the girl and her mother for ever.

I agree with all that has been said already, and will add that everyone concerned will never live their lives as before.....a most appalling and senseless thing to have done....we have I'm sure all had a relative that commited suicide...my Mum attempted it twice because of her illness, but that doesn't say that me and my sister would commit such a rotten deed....may he repent his sins!!!!

-I think that in this case, he will punish himself far far more than any court in any country possibly could.

Absolutely, Rowan.

He is a tormented soul living in a Hell he has created for himself.
