"I would be mildly annoyed if anyone insulted it but I would give them the benefit of ignorance.

Flags/Rags are what you perceive them to be.

doatie."

Agreed Doatie. So ignorance should not be a factor.

It is offensive to ME that disagreeing with YOU................over a piece of wood and cloth;---for that IS what it is!...., makes me disloyal.
THAT is what validated criticism.
If you value a flag you are patriotic.
If you do not you are disloyal.
That appalls me.

Hmmmmm..with equal due respect Miriam; I never said you did.
The ME/YOU thing was general to the thread. You have my word on it.

Nice quote.

Understanding what another means is the key.

Normally I can "understand" another's posting. Megra, I do not understand and Sass....who was another name in AN...I have problems understanding as well. We are on way different wave lengths....However....to each their own once again.

Cheers

Have we just about talked this subject out now.
I've an idea let's move on.

I'll just run that idea up the flag pole and see who salutes it.

OK. Miriam...as you wish. I too thought we were done:

Predictably the PM has been used by the predictable...
My name on other sites have been Ginx....you missed out Red; or has the predictable already told you that? I use different names on different sites because I choose to................; you will note that I am not alone in this???...predictable..y. A style/type of posting does not change;...it's easy to pick; isn't it?

Unfortunately I have very little problem understanding you. Your capacity for attacking the person and not the message is pretty legendary on other messageboards. Disagreeing with you is all it takes for one of your 'innocent' little put downs; as evidenced by the above.

It does not hide the spite though;...it never has......

"Each to their own" Miriam??? I wish you would practice this; not preach it.

I have made my comments on this topic. I made it clear to you personally that I was not referring to you personally. I even gave you my word!

It does not make one damn bit of difference to you does it?

Well now I have been forced into making this personal. I'm not happy to do so, but if you continue in the style so familiar to you...

I promise you. So will I.

I don't have any problem with people using a different name on THIS site than they use/have used on other sites. As long as people stick to using ONE name on this site I am happy. So, don't worry Sass, I have no problems with this.

Absolutely Dita - nothing at all - but we don't need a flag to tell us that. Nevertheless, I fly my flag every day and tomorrow will be flying it more enthusiastically than ever. :grouphug:
