BBC Licence Fee

Postby Rowan » Thu Nov 29, 2007 4:59 pm

I, probably together with most Scottish viewers are fed up subsidising english football (I hate football anyway) when Scottish fans can't get to see their major games on terrestrial TV. We get English football whether we want to see it or not. We're still getting 1966 anyway...forty years later.

Personally, I don't watch football on TV anyway but Davy does and he is furious he can't get to see the games he wants to see.

BBC should either give EQUAL showing to all the national teams or none at all. Alternatively, they could stop taking a licence fee from Scotland, Ireland and Wales.

Also I'd like to see more money made available for programmes made in Scotland using some of our excellent Scottish actors, producers, writers and presenters.

I don't care where the programmes come from provided they are worth paying for.

England, Scotland, Ireland and Wales or Outer Mongolia. Providing they are worth watching and do not insult the viewers intelligence that's find by me.

You are making my point for me.
These programmes insult the intelligence of the viewer.
To your list you can add "Ranker Woss"
