Tony Blair for President?

Postby Monika » Mon Oct 05, 2009 12:20 pm

Does anyone know why this man is being named as the newly appointed President of Europe with no opposition in sight?

How can this known liar, who took this country into two wars that are still ongoing, cripplingly expensive both monetarily and (even worse) in casualties, and who fled Downing Street before the country got all the way down the pan, be feted and lauded when he actually deserves to be prosecuted and put in prison?

I truly do not know of anyone who likes him and has a good word to say about him.

It amazes me that he has the gall to put himself forward for such a thing. Why him?

Because the EU is a "jobs for the boys" institution. Just look at those who are now in Europe who couldn't be elected in elections for Westminster.

If they aren't fit to run the UK, what makes us think they are fit to run the EU.......well, ooops........it has nothing to do with us.........nomination isn't election,..........and nomination isn't democracy!

So long as it isn't Tony Blair. Get rid of God Save the Queen.

As everybody in here knows my politics are SNP - has been since I was around 12 years old so don't be surprised at my views - sometimes even the SNP doesn't go far enough for me!

It is dreary our national anthem but I want to retain one but not that dirge really. Does Wales have their own NA? They sing it to high-heaven at the rugby matches. " Wales! Wales!"......... and so on!

I love hearing the Welsh singing at the Rugby Matches. So different to our miserable offering. It is enough to give you depression just listening to it.
