hubby is having a problem with his new machine. Typing a report he gets two spaces between the lines. Any idea how he gets back to one space. Many thanks Penny

When you have Word open, in the Formating Tool bar there should be a icon like this,

the one with the arrows, click on the small arrow and see if it is ticked on the top number '1.0'

Try:
Format - Paragraph - Spacing -
there should be a box which you tick for single, double etc

(this is from memory as I don't use microsoft office anymore)
