Touch Pads

Postby dita » Mon Sep 21, 2009 9:35 am

I have a laptop and use the touchpad all the time till suddenly it freezes, thought it was overheating
so have bought a stand with a fan in it. It has'nt made any difference.
Sometimes it freezes after an hour, sometimes it lasts all day.
After been off for a while when restarting it is ok.
Does anyone else have sasme problem?

What you need is an Oddquine or a Clevewyn.

Dita if you google on "freezing touch pads" there seems to be many people with the same problem and lots of advice there.

One of the most useful seems to be

Q. Why does the touch pad mouse always freeze on my acer new laptop How can I continue my actions without shutting the computer off?

A. Have you tried pressing Fn+F7? This activates / deactivates the touchpad.
