Please has anyone upgraded to IE8 or got any info on any potential problems.

I upgraded a while ago VM ..... I haven't noticed any difference and have had no problems with it.

I updated the minute it was available and have never had a problem.

I suggest you try Firefox (and possibly have a look at Chrome).
