I just upgraded to AVG 2011 free version this week but Microsoft engineer friend advised to still run Malwarebytes.

My set up is

1/ AVG 2011.........................http://www.computeractive.co.uk/

2/ SuperAntiSpyware Free Edition ...................http://www.superantispyware.com/download.html

3/ Malwarebyres Anti-Malware
http://download.cnet.com/3001-8022_4-10 ... 127a3cc6c2

4/ Zonealarm ...........................http://www.zonealarm.com/security/en-us ... rewall.htm

5/ WOT...........................http://www.mywot.com/

All Freeware

I use Google to search, and if a site as got the AVG tick, or the WOT green or orange ring then I can go in the site, or both of course.

Some m/c have a problem with AVG 2011 and Zonealarm together if you do you can easily cure it by.
Start / Settings / Control Panel / Add and remove programs / then un-install Zonealarm Tool Bar / Re-boot / Look for MSVCR80.dll. in C:/Windows / System32 /

If you cannot find MSVCR80.dll in C:/ Windows / System32
You can down load it from http://www.dll-files.com/pop.php?dll=msvcr80
Click the top download MSVCR80.dll.

Then double click to open the Zip file copy the Dll to desktop then place MSVCR80.dll. in the C:/ Windows / System32

If it is replace it

Job Done

On my apple Desk top I tend to prefer using a track pad instead.
