I've tried to make these a bit harder . No.1 is a little different as it is the very old logo that's been replaced some time ago since; but I remember it and wonder if you do too?

I certainly do remember it but maybe I have an unfair advantage in that I share the family name! So far as I know, I'm not actually related and have never been a cocoa heiress  . Number 1 is of course, Fry's 5 Boys, logo of J S Fry & Sons Ltd.

Number 3 is the Salvation Army.

You've done it again, Andere, with Fry's and The Salvation Army.

It's interesting that you share a name with a famous family; my married name is Wheatcroft and we are always being asked if we are related to the famous rose growing family. We are not BTW

I didn't know Fry's and No. 2 is familiar but I can't place it. I keep thinking Fray Bentos, which it isn't. I think it's probably a sheep not a cow.

That's interesting. I haven't the foggiest what no 2 is but, until I read your post, I had thought it was a sheep. Now I've looked again, I've decided it's a bull because the nose looks too broad for a sheep. I feel sure it must be some beef product - corned beef, meat pies, burgers.

Oh, oh, oh! I was puzzled enough to go to the kitchen and have a look at the Bovril jar but it's not that. However, the jar sits on the same shelf as the Colmans' Mustard!!!!

That was clever. I have got a jar of Bovril but not the Colman's Mustard.
