Would it be useful if there was somewhere where you could upload photies to link to for here and other places.......................something on the lines of the Smiles upload pages with link details to C&P, as an option to Photobucket or those kind of places?

I assume you all know you can hot link the Smilies that members have uploaded to the Smilies pages, btw?

I am happy using photobucket, but the photos have to be made smaller before you put them in photobucket,
I think it is the size of the photo that is the problem,

I think its a great idea Oddie, as long as its in plain language how to use it because you know from experience what a duffer I am at anything technical.

I'll put a link to the imagehosting site on the header...............but I'm afraid you'll have to register again...but just once if you get your browser to remember it..... 'cos I can't work out how to integrate it with this place.

It's a pretty simple upload, and I have made the thumbnails of a size to do forums, so if you click on the BBC code for thumbnails that should be all you need.

No need to resize photies provided they are a maximum of 1MB in size............and you have to have a cracking camera on the best picture quality to get above 1MB......... for if they are the script will reduce them for you.....and if they're not, you can't upload anyway. :rolleye11:

I would but he's my sisters late dog. He's got a page on Celebrating Pets. I didn't know which photie I was uploading to test it out.
