Diabetes Update

Postby toolip2 » Mon May 09, 2011 8:16 pm

I note that the last post in this thread was in 2010... well I am still taking my meds and they are very good and my sugar levels have been quite good for some time. The nurse told me she is very pleased with all my tests that i had done for the annual diabetes check up. I dont get so tired now and lost some weight but that was due to me being ill for a cfouple of months at the beginning of this year with severe broncial virus. Now well and feeling ok

That's good to hear, toolip.

While I was in Las Vegas I gained 2 kg and let myself loose on a few things that I don't normally eat but since then I have lost the weight and got back into my usual eating habits so the blood sugar is down from 6's and 7's to the low 4's first thing in the morning.

Good to know that the meds are working for you both
I only hope the consultant can come up with an answer for me this morning when I go to the hospital about my ruddy blackouts.
I have been put on Epilepsy tablets but I have still had a blackout while being on them.
Anyway wish me luck.

Good heavens Maisie, thought they had sorted it out with those meds. What a ruddy pain.
