True Rowan, we did last out for nearly three years, did the foreign trips, now we've got this scamp!!!!! just had another look at him in my avatar, weird, looks as if we're in mourning for him. Must look at the pic again and remove it.

Some years ago, I knew a dog which became completely paralysed. The vet kept it in their hospital for two weeks, before the poor thing died.

Yes, it was your previous post which prompted me to put that, dej.

briber - is he a border collie? It depends on how old a dog is, as to how long it takes to get rid of problems. Some problems you never get out of them.

I have only just caught up here.. I took Jess(my cat) to the vet, advising them beforehand why she was coming in, so I wouldn't have to talk to much. The vet was a locum - a big rumpled looking Australian chap. He was so gentle with her, and me, that it was bearable. I too was surprised a few days later to receive a lovely card. Started the tears again, but I thought it was a lovely gesture.

Emm,
collie Xlab. now 16 months old, wasn't socialised until we got him at 8 months old hence the problems. still, he keeps us on our toes, I think, madam, this afternoon had another bang on the legs because he was running with another dog and one of them crashed into her.
