Here he is all grown up now......the cat I thought I'd never be able to keep.

Ahhhh, isn't he lovely.
Why didn't you think you would be able to keep him?
And how old is he now?

He's lovely.

I had one like that called Fidget.

He could hear a crumb drop at 500 yards.

Has he been poorly then?

I got him as a kitten last June, Emm, and I had a nasty allergic reaction which affected my eyes.......ended up in casualty. Poor Timmy twice had to go and stay with my son. Whether or not the hayfever season had something to do with it as well, I don't know. Being of a stubborn nature I just had to have him back......that was in August and I seem to have been OK since. I couldn't bear to be without him now.

It must be awful when something like that happens. I just hope that the hay fever season was to blame, and not poor Timmy.

Years ago, I knew a woman who bought a monkey. She was allergic to it.
Fortunately, she was wealthy, because whenever her car got a lot of monkey hair in it - she sold it and got a new one.
