Charley is still a pup - a rescue dog who is very timid and let's Max be the boss!! He likes to wander though, hence the tether!!

None of them have time to do the garden (apparently. I said to my niece yesterday that she should get somebody in to do it for them. They can afford it and it would be worth it to see a nice garden. They have so much of it, it seems a shame to let it go like that. I'd love a bit of garden to do something with.

I wondered why one of them was tethered - thought he was liable to do a runner.
They won't be bothered about flowers in the garden - though they may enjoy digging them up.

No, you're right Emm - they love digging!! Joanne is afraid that Max will run off if he catches sight of a small animal - he loves chasing things.

Oops - I said Max when I meant Charley - it always mixes me up because one of my previous wee darlings was called Charley!!
