Dee asked me to put this on here and what a lovely photo it is too.
That look between baby and the dog is complete adoration.

What a smart doggy - looks as though he has just had a haircut.

He is a little Border Terrier, little monkey had a bad habit of attacking dogs much larger than himself at one time so they took him for training, he is fine now but they were worried that he may get jealous of the baby when she arrived and never leave them together unless supervised. They do appear though to be great friends which is a relief. They have just had his nuts nipped and he is much calmer. My son feels very guilty about that.HA! HA!

No dog, no matter how good it's temperament, should be left alone with children.

I'm sure they are very careful not to leave the dog alone in the room. Much as I love my dog, I wouldn't.

Here's one of Lara with her faithful slave Chuckie!! He just adores her already but she is not even aware of him! Max is smitten too and they both get very upset if we lave her to cry!

You want to try a few balloons near her feet, Rowan.

When my girls were small I used to sit them in a bouncinette, tie several ballons to the bottom of it and watch the fun when they started kicking at the balloons as they bounced up and down.

Beautiful photo Rowan, they grow so quick though. Fabienne was here over the weekend, what a difference since Christmas, she is DA da, Ma ma, crawling all over the place, hope to get another photo on when I get them downloaded, she was smitten with Sophie's ears. She has now got 2 little teeth.
