Super photos Oddie and I bet you were very proud of them.
Have you ever been horse riding?

I only went once in my life and my bliddy legs still feel bowed, not to mention the blister I finished up with on my duff. :roflmao:

Never tried it in my life.

Nic got into it because her mother used to ride, and decided to take it up again. She has her own horse as well.....which Nic will likely fall heir to when she outgrows Thomas.

I think horse riding is something you either love or hate. It's a long way down when you've got short legs like me

My sister and I both loved riding and had our own horses but that was long time ago. Where we used to live was all open space then but now it's ll houses.

Nic and Thomas look very smart, Oddie - did they win anything ?

Nope....but the class they were entered in was amalgamated with another and she ended up competing with adults on horses and kiddies on lead reins.

Thomas was by far the youngest and most inexperienced there (he's only five and nic only moved up to him a few weeks ago)..........which would have been fine in the original class for novices. But she did very well and better than some who had been riding longer.

Think she was a bit peeved though.......because the lassie who was riding Sandy got a rosette.

That doesn't seem fair to lump them all in together.

What shame, but her turn will come though.

Lovely pictures Oddie and Clevewyn!

Those of you who fell off should have got back on again! There's nothing like it. You are seated way above the hedges and can see forever, and there's nothing so exhilerating as a full gallop! I haven't ridden for years, but I used to. Yes, and I fell off a couple of times!
