I think they should have charged for it. If someone is willing tp pay they are more likely to look after it, than discard one because it was free.
My friend had a Bedlington it was a lovely little dog but had a hip problem and did not live very long, they look fragile but maybe she had a badly bred one.

A woman got in touch today. A neighbour had a 12 month old puppy, and because they had got fed up with it - they had it put to sleep.
People have no sense of responsibility these days I was quite shocked to read today the two thirds of children that run away are never reported to the Police, it makes you wonder what sort of a world we've created
