The poor dog :(
Do you have an RSPCA?
Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.

Hi Max YES we do have the RSPCA and charity places where folks can take their animal if they cant afford the operation.

In this case it was sheer cruelty because it was doing the poor dog no good.
The dog had to be put to sleep.

If you are on benefits, you can get help from the PDSA. If you are not on benefits but find it difficult affording a vet, most vets will let you pay by instalment and I'm sure the animal organisations would be able to give assistance.
