Old Shep

"Old Shep" is a tale told around camp fires and has been adopted by songwriters...why even the 'King' sang about 'Ole Shep'..... it is a story that reaches into our being and stirs something up.
Here is my rendition of that famous old tale.......

Sorry Daffyd but I just cannot listen to it - it has me in floods of tears every time! Another old song which used to make me cry was one called "Leaning" and its about someone leaning on a gate beside a field where their faithful old dog is buried. It was about when I was a kid, and I used to cry my self silly.

Eventually, if Leaning or Old Shep came on the radio, I used to turn the sound off!
