VET SITE

Postby mazzy » Thu Nov 24, 2005 10:24 am

I found this site 'by accident' the other day, and thought it was quite good. It's obviously in the early stages, but seemed quite a good idea to me. There is a commercial element to it, but you don't need to get involved with that.
I would be interested in what you think

www.doineedavet.co.uk

ps I am not trying to advertise it - just liked the idea.

I think that's a good idea Mazzy. Sometimes you wonder if it's better to wait and see, especially at the prices the vets charge. Of course, you don't want to the animal to be suffering, so this might help with deciding........

Seems a good idea, but do you know who you are really speaking to and for £1.50 a minute think all vets have a emergency number.

Yes Ann, I thought about the phone calls, but I posted 2 queries, got a sensible reply within 24 hours and there was no charge for that.
That's what I meant by the 'commercial' side. I wouldn't use that, as I have a good vet, but sometimes you just feel the ned to ask a simple question or for help from others with similar ecperiences.

That will come in handy for me with the advice line I work for. I am not allowed to advise on medical matters.
Thanks Mazzy.

That may come in very handy for quite a few of us.
