In February we lost little Jess, who had cancer in her neck - it was quite a blow, but we just got on, as you do.
Last Wednesday my beautiful Chloe had a stroke and died. She was a lovely 13 year old seal point siamese. She had been getting a bit thin, but was eating well, and seemed to have taken on a new lease of life recently.
At home, whenever I was using the computer, Chloe was sitting on my lap. We still have 3 other cats, but I do miss her so much.

Oh Mazzy I am SO sorry to read about you losing your lovable pets.

I can understand the void that is left now that Chloe has passed on.

Perhaps if you can write about her and Jess you could put an obituary for them on here

http://www.celebratingpets.thefourcorners.co.uk/

Its a lovely site to call into just to bring back lovely memories of your pet pals.
You can have a photo put on of them and your own poem or little story about them.
I hope this helps.

Maisie thanks for that. I have just penned an e mail. It is definitely pay back when a beloved pet leaves - I guess there has to be a charge for all of the pleasure that they give.

So sorry Mazzy, you're right - it seems the pain on their passing is the payback for the joy they bring. Still worth it.

I do have some lovely memories to hold on to. I think I'm finding it harder with Chloe because I wasn't with her at the end. It all happened so quickly, which I know is a good thing, but I wasn't there to comfort and reaasure her.
Thanks for the kind words - does help.
