Apparently, researchers have just discovered what we dog lovers have known for donkey's years - that dogs smile when they are happy.

I wonder how much money they wasted on managing to find that out for themselves!!!!!
I for one, would have told them F.O.C.

It is the same as some of these so called dog experts, who say that you shouldn't grin at a dog, because it will see your bared teeth, and think you are being aggressive to it.

Rubbish - going by the reaction of my dogs, they are well aware that I am happy with them when they see my teeth as I am grinning at them.

I always thought that dogs see differently. Don't they view us like looking into the back of a spoon?

I have never heard that one, Monsy.
They did say that dogs only see in black and white.
That is something else they have changed their minds about now, too.
