....but the vast percentage of names are not strangers to me having met you to a greater or lesser degree ' in a former message board life.'.

I am looking forward to enjoying myself in here, as suggested, one way and another.

It seems the "Welcomes" have started in the "Anything goes" thread. Either spot suits me, and it is so nice to see them.

I am happily married to an invalid wife. I have 5 months to wait till state-pension time.

We are owned by two dogs.

Lay your blanket on the ground and sit down with us.

I dont know if we have met elsewhere before or not but just enjoy the forum and I hope your wife can join in too, plus the dogs.

Thank you for your welcome, Maywalk
It is a pleasure to join you on the blanket.
Both My Beloved, and or the dogs will be joining us but in the metaphorical sense on more than one occasion. Be assured.

I wasn't out to confuse, but I often do as V.M. knows (but I do so unconsciously) and have put pics of our hounds on the other thread for you.

Thanks for welcoming me in. If, as you say "We're all slightly cracked"... it looks like I may have arrived at the right place.

Hi Monsy,

Pleased to meet you.

You say " in the meantime I'm in charge." Spoken like a woman patriotically baring the St Andrews Cross. My Beloved, of Scottish Heritage, is not only in charge " in the meantime" but has been since I first met her and I anticipate will continue thus. ;-)

I never said welcome Ben - I remedy that now. I was temporarily without my broadband due to a house move!! So I'm back in charge...I think! :dunno: :rolleye11:
