Morning everyone..........nearly New Years Eve!

Andere, the strangest thing is, about two years ago I had a vivid dream about this!! In the dream, I got on the bus, glanced out of the back window and saw Trixie galloping after the bus. Having asked the driver to stop so I could get off, she jumped ON and we proceeded into town where I had a G.P. appointment. Trixie came to the surgery and entered before me, right into a room where there was a staff meeting in progress. Then I woke up.

The strangest thing was, on Friday morning that was exactly where I was going to keep an appointment (I try to keep these to once or twice a year)

Creepy or what?

Morning Dita and all, what a dreadful morning. So sorry for doggie today, give her big hugs and hopefully weather will clear a little later. Strange story vannin, it is creepy. Anyway, give all pussies a big kiss from me. Was hoping to get out today but looks like weather is against that. Hope all are keeping warm and that OHs are o.k. Take care, keep warm and have a good day. Get ready for a Great 2014. cheers Penny.

Viv - that's really weird! But dreams are very strange ... (cue creepy music).

Wild, wet and windy here for most of the day. Lucy K and OH both snoozing in chairs ... neither use nor ornament, as my Gran used to say. It's calmer and dryer now but it's also dark so not a lot of use, really. I've spent the afternoon making soup which was psychologically satisfying if nothing else on this miserable, dark day. Absolutely nothing to report so I'll just wander off and indulge in some comfort-eating until it's spring ....

Morning Penny and all, Horrid day here too, only short walk because it too rainy and cold for little doggie, she does need those hugs Penny and sends lots of hugs back with big thanks for being such a good friend and we both wish you and everyone A Very Happy New Year.
OK Ciderman--you rub it in, why dont you Hee hee. All the Best for 2014
Went to Sainsburys yesterday and got a joint of british lamb just for the two of us, it was £8+ if I had bought a piece of yorkshire lamb the same size it would have been much dearer, does not make sense does it?. All the best for the New Year everyone, and pussy's too. Keep your chin up Penny :) and all.

As usual, I've checked out the new year for you and it looks pretty good! A few high, fluffy clouds but otherwise it looks good. :ithanku:

Morning all.
Got up at 9.45am after getting to bed at 2.00am. Partied at a social club with eldest daughter, twin sister and youngest Granddaughter where my daughter and son in law were singing. They rocked the place with all kinds of party music. Ended at 1.00am. A great night to see in the New Year.

New years day is a lovely day for me. I always keep the dec lights on until Tomorrow where they will all come down. Watching The Strongest Man and Vienna New Years Day concert. Cooking a full roast dinner. Bliss.
I hope you all had a good time last night and hope all those that are poorly will soon get better.

It may be a new year but there's no new weather: wild, wet, windy, dark all day and completely foul. Penny's quite correct about Lucy K; she's only uncurled herself for long enough to nibble at a smidgeon of Whiskas and then gone right back to sleep. OH is slumped in front of the TV watching a recording of 'Battle of Britain' - again. There's a limit to how many times I'm prepared to fight WW2 but the aircraft noise is all over the house anyway so there's no escape. Hugs to all, and sympathetic purrs to soggy doggies!

Hi Penny and all, it is a terrible gale and pouring rain, you are right Penny doggies walk cancelled but she is content to have lots of hugs from you and sends many warm hugs back to you. Had a call from D.I.L in Kent, her Mum was cooking a big roast for lunch for all the family, right in the middle of the cooking of it they had a power cut and only have electric. To top it up Shel had to leave my son at home curled up in bed because he has flu (man) and too poorly to join them for lunch. Us however, despite the weather we are ok and gonna eat in a while. Chin up Penny :) and all. Lucy Katt has got it right Andere :grouphug:

Morning Dita and all, have arranged lovely sunny morning for doggie so should be o.k. along with hugs for super walkies today. Off to Sainsbury for a little shop today, did quite a weekly one when I went to Morrison's the other day. Been very quiet here. Heard from daughter last night, still ill with this chest infection. Seems to be a lot about so take care all. Pussies should come out of hibernation for an hour or so today. Big kisses to encourage Hope all hubbies are feeling well today, mine on his computer at the moment. I think a little sunshine helps all round. So, have a lovely day all and take care. cheers Penny

Hello Penny and all, beautiful sunny day for walkies with doggie, trouble is it still very very muddy and hard to find any dry spots down the bottom, However there is happy hugs wending their way Penny. Think Lucy Katt & Trixie would be avoiding that area. Hope your daughter soon clears her infection, my son has it too and feeling very sorry for himself. Enjoy your trip to Sainsburys, have just eaten a lump of their lemon drizzle cake, it yummy. My hubby seems quite cheery today -for a change. Keep you chin up Penny :) and take care all.
