Hi Dita, will they still be alive and kicking after???? Isn't it great that folk are joining in. Makes this a super Tea and Sympathy site, without the usual criticism and sarcasm. Just imagine if we all lived close, we could have evenings of photography, cooking, knitting,, sewing animal lovers and goodness knows what else. How I wish. Never mind, we have the next best thing with this site, thanks to Monsy and whoever. Take care. cheers Penny

They would maybe be to fat to move Penny :) Oh! dear I am such a terrible person. :hide: I quite agree about our little site, we have light hearted fun without the agro and we have both worked hard to keep things moving at times. Great to see it is paying off at last, and sure it will continue to do so. You are right about our Monsy & gang, I love her humour and she's always around, gonna chase her over the humber bridge one of these days :rolleye11: One thing for certain we wouldn't have time to be bored if we all lived nearer. :grouphug:

I meant to add that, having used the iron-on strips, I added few little stitches at places such as seams, to help the stuff stay there!

Hi Penny and all. Did manage to get a doggie walkies earlier, it was nice and sunny morning, was happy for those warming hugs Penny. However this afternoon it is almost dark, the winds howling around the chimney and its pouring down, such a change in a short while. Snap, we are having Chicken Kiev too but ours with Garlic sauce. Nothing exciting going on here either, not going shopping today and its rubbish on tv as usual so may get the crossword out. How are you getting on with that new machine of yours Penny. Keep smiling :) and take care all. Bet L Katt curled up dreaming again.

Just put a long reply on via my tablet, it got lost. Try again , pouring with rain, thunder and lightening. Very dark. Have done all the free crosswords on it, now trying to learn what else to do. Can't say I enjoy this small thing. Rain has stopped and sky cleared again. Most odd weather today. Just taken a couple of loaves out so that is me sorted for the weekend. Not sure what I am doing for Sunday lunch. Hope your property is o.k. in this weather. Take care. Cheers penny :please:

Hi Dita and all, Monsy, keep a hosepipe handy and you can say hello back to Stephen through the window. Weather simply awful today, wet, cold and windy. Sorry my hugs wont do much for doggie today except help to keep warm. I hope pussies are warm and cosy. Not much planned today, have a strained neck at the moment so strapped up. Difficult. That's me of course. Hope you didn't get any rain in Dita, we were lucky this time, wind in different direction so none blew into the garage roofing. Can't even attempt to fix same until dryer weather. Hope you all have a good Sunday. One of the better James Bond films on this lunchtime and don't forget the Midwives this evening at 8 p.m. BBC1 Take care and keep warm. cheers Penny

Hi Penny, Monsy, Maggiemint and all. No doggie walkies at all today, just dive in and out as quick as possible to do the necessary actions and now sending you big big hugs back Penny. Raining stair rods here too Monsy, keep your hat on. Think pussy has the right idea Maggiemint. Nothing planned today for us either, keeping warm and watching the poor birdies out of the window is about it as far as activity concerned. Keep smiling Penny :) and all xx

Hi, all - Lucy K all snuggled up on a chair in the warm. She's been out in a brief lull between rainstorms and came back protesting loudly when it started to rain again, demanding we dry her off and DO SOMETHING to stop this horrid weather!

It's absolutely foul here and they say there's another couple of days rain in store before it improves. It's getting colder, too. Monsy, I think you should opt for a waterproof hat in preference to anything else. A wet bobble hat clinging to your coiffure really wouldn't be very pleasant and a fur hat might end up looking like a drowned cat when it gets wet ...

We're having a very idle day. OH is hunkered over his PC reading Dilbert cartoons - no change there, then. I'm trying to catch up on emails and laundry and the washing machine is eating socks. I wonder why they do that and where do the socks ultimately go? And why is it always the socks you specially like that disappear?

Parsnip soup, cold pork and salad for dinner today because I really can't be bovvered ... hope everyone's keeping warm and all pets and their people are snug and dry.

I watched Call the Midwife. Jenny's promotion threatened to upset Trixie longterm, but I think they were mature enough to cope with it.

Morning Dita and all, Lovely and sunny here today, so far, should be fine for walkies today so hugs on the way early. Kisses for pussies who I am sure will be out for a time today if your weather is the same. Having an easy day today, (says she) Chicken tikka masala for lunch.(not sure about the spelling. I really enjoyed The Midwife yesterday and now looking forward to Tuesday for the new one Death in Paradise. So impossible its really enjoyable. OH only likes talkies or antiques. So I insist on my two. Hope every one is well and keeping warm. Heard from chappie in Ohio yesterday, 7 inches of snow. I told him not to send it over here. What say you, do you prefer snow or rain. Catch you later, cheers Penny :please:
