Hi Penny and all. It was early walkies for doggie this morning, so early hugs for you too Penny, all because I was going out for lunch with a couple of friends, it is what we do every year when its birthday time, who ever's day it is they get treated, and today it was me. Not been back long because we had a mooch round after lunch at the garden centre. Taped Midwives last night and looking forward to watching it, that Selfridge thingy, just cannot get into it don't think we will be bothering with that any more. Gonna get hubby some tea now. Maybe a good snow better than weeks of rain, hard to make up my mind really.
Keep smiling Penny :) and all.

Just about to go to bed and I thought I'd drop in here first and say hello. Glad you enjoyed your lunch, Dita an managed a decent dog-walk. It's been very odd here - bright sunshine but cold with sudden outbreaks of heavy rain when you're least expecting it. Do I really have to make a choice between snow and rain?? I'm not keen on either. I quite enjoy it when it's dry, cool and crisp with a touch of frost and lovely blue skies.... OH has managed to make contact with the builder and he's coming round in the morning to see if he can find out where the damp in the bedroom wall is coming from. It'll be a relief to get to the bottom of it; I've been having strange dreams about the house falling down with us inside it.

Big kiss for pussies too, No doubt about where they will be curled up today. Never mind, won't belong before spring makes an appearance ( says she hopefully). Hope you get your building problem sorted Andere. We cannot start the garage roof until we get a week or so of dry weather. Very quiet on here over the weekend, do hope all are well and keeping warm. Hope OHs are o.k. Just given mine a hair cut. Take care all and enjoy the week. cheers Penny

Hope you enjoy your lunch today Penny, I had a bit of a laugh with my friends yesterday, change for me cos my old man doesn't smile much. Morning Dita and all, thought I had better get in early and send hugs to make up for such a horrid day. Cold and raining again. OH out for lunch with a couple of old workmates today so will have time to myself for a couple of hours. Your OH sounds like a replica of mine Dita, wouldn't be a Gemini by any chance. Sorry if weather too bad for pussies again, kisses to help the time along. Hope everyone is well. and keeping warm. Had a nice lunch at the club yesterday and people were kindly giving me their left=over chips for the birdies. So they all had a good feed this morning. The rooks love chips. Take care, catch you later. cheers Penny

Wet, wet, wet!!! How can there be any water left in the clouds? Poor Lucy K keeps wandering from the cat-flap at the back to the front door, peering out of both and wailing miserably at me to see if I can make it stop. Oh, how I wish .....
I've got to go out in a minute to keep a hair appointment - I was strongly tempted to call them and lie about having a cold or something and change it to another day but then I thought, it'd probably still be raining on the new day and, anyway, my fringe has grown so long I can't see through it so I do need to go! I ordered some local honey from our local apiarist but he's just rung to say he's all sold out and offered me some Harlow honey instead. I like the local stuff because it does help prevent my hay-fever being too bad but I'll try anything once. :please:
The builder didn't show up yesterday so I still don't know if the house is going to fall down. Sigh!!
Time to go and put my waterproofs on. Keep warm and dry everyone.

Hi Penny, Andere and all, Its dry here at the moment first time for days, wait a minute though-its on its way- and its colder. Penny you have hit the nail on the head, my hubby is Gemini June 19th no wonder they are alike. Extra big hugs today from doggie, she did manage a little muddy walk but was pleased to get back home in the warmth. Andere purrs to L Katt, I love local honey and a few years ago we had 4 hives of our own, sadly gave it up because of hubby's illness. Keep your pecker up regardless Penny :) take care Andere and all.

Morning Dita and all, dreadful morning again, very cold, wet and dark. Still raining. Hope extra hugs will make up for this cold stuff for doggie. Poor pussies, not at all nice for scouting around. Better stay indoors today. Kisses on the way. Off for the weekly shop at Sainsbury and hopefully will see son for lunch. Take care all and do keep warm. Pleased you liked the funny Dita. cheers Penny

Thanks for the larf, Penny - made OH chortle, too. Thank goodness mine still has his sense of humour even though it's sometimes a tad warped. He says that he used to be normal and then got infected with the warped bug when he met me.

It's been completely grey here since daybreak and now it's raining again; I'm sure there are webs growing between my toes. It's perishing cold, too so I'm not planning to go anywhere but will stay home and deal with all the laundry. Lucy K very unhappy - still wandering around and wailing at me to DO SOMETHING about it!! Looks like a nasty morning for Walkies, too; poor little dog!

Hi Penny, Andere and all. We have snow, not heavy but its here, doggie objecting to being forced out for walkies today, would rather have those hugs from you Penny. Not very nice for pussycats either. We were considering a trip to Sainsburys too but decided against it, hope you manage a chat with son when out. Think it rather funny both our hubbies are Gemini, shows what they say is true about these things. Anyway keep smiling Penny :) I do. And take care Andere and all.

Had a vey nice lunch with son Dita, rang earlier and asked me to take my tablet along. He sat and added 100 more crosswords for me to do. Very thoughtful. Talking about taking a cruise this summer, the children have been working hard at exams and things and he thought they might like a change from sailing. , OH just sat there and looked blank. I was going to say, for a joke of course, we will join you on the cruise but thought better of it. Andere, if you pop in here again Lidl have some lovely things and scratch poles for pussies to play with. Super little blankets and beds etc. Worth a look as very reasonable in price. Take care all, more kisses and hugs on the way to make up for this awful weather. cheers Penny.
