Hi Penny and all, you made me laugh about No Vacancies for Squirrels, they will soften your heart in the end :) The guys are working outside at the moment banging and drilling the big side wall, it is not as stressful as yesterday thankgoodness not so much barking for one thing and it was a sunny walkies today, your hugs welcome, so warming because it is a bit cold. Hopefully I may get away from all the hammering for a couple of hours tomorrow, my friend wants me to go and see a film with her. Must get his lordship his cuppa, keep smiling Penny:) and all, Purrs LK x

Morning Penny and all. Just a quicky, Big hugs as we go doggie walking, bit chilly and dull today. We have drilling at back, drilling at front, not pleasant when OH and I trying to talk to each other, be pleased when they've finished. Anyway I'm going to the cinema after lunch with a friend to see 'The Book Thief' looking forward to that. Keep smiling Penny :) take care all.

Hi Dita and all, do hope you enjoy your afternoon Dita, helps to relax. Hope hugs reached doggie in time for walkies. Been sitting here about 10 mins waiting for vision to become clear. Twisted my neck somehow and got two of everything plus blind spots. Wretched nuisance. Wearing my collar again. Hope pussies have a nice day, lots of kisses on the way. Our weather is cold and dull today. Off to do weekly shop. Time goes so quickly, can't believe Its a week since I last went. . Take care all and keep warm. cheers Penny

Hi, everyone - just a flying visit as I'm approaching a deadline and won't have much time for internet chat until the work is done, sometime next week. Lovely day here, windows open and sleepy puss sunbathing on the outside sill. Hope it's good for dog-walks?
Oh, Penny - you really are having a time of it, aren't you? You'll be wanting to go back to February and start March again at this rate. Hugs and purrs from here if they help. And Dita, I hope the contractors get the job finished soon without too much more racket and upheaval. I'd never have thought of all those things like extending the gas flue and the water pipe for the outside tap. Nothing is ever simple, is it? Enjoy the sunshine, everyone. :sunglasses:

Hi Penny, Andere and all, After much rain overnight we have sun, it was a muddy walkies though but hugs from you Penny very welcome. Purrs from L Katt welcome too. Work is still in progress and it looks like a bomb has dropped in our back yard. Oh Penny special hugs for you, do hope your neck is much easier, you are always in the wars :( It was an enjoyable film and nice to get away for a couple of hours, infact the noise from the sound effects which are normally deafening in the cinema did not seem too bad because it was more noisy at home than there today. Hoping despite your neck pain Penny you are still smiling :) take care also Andere and all.

Hi Dita and all, lovely and sunny here today. Hope hugs reached doggie in time for walkies. Neck free from pain but will have to wear the brace for some time as I get split vision if I happen to bend or turn. Makes me furious. So pleased you enjoyed the film. Don't know about you but I find music on the TV drowns the voice of anyone singing. Bet your house is beginning to look smart now. Not much longer to put up with inconvenience. Just cooked, liver and sweet onion, OH's favourite. Seems it's Andere's time to be busy now. Hope pussies manage a trip out, kisses on the way. Take care all and keep warm.
Our young lsawn man came yesterday afternoon and I as usual made him a loaf. OH gave it to him and said, it is still warm, might be difficult to cut till tomorrow, the young man smiled and said, not to worry it won't be here that long. Seems he eats it all for his tea. Cheers Penny

Hi Penny and all, overcast today lots of hugs needed as we go doggie walkies because workman were here almost before we drew the curtains, they have another job to attend to on Monday so rushing about to finish their part of the work here. It will be work for the painters next week then we shall be able to see a big difference. Must be very uncomfortable having to wear that brace Penny, do hope its not for too long. I find the sound on TV very frustrating, sound effects really loud but they seem to mumble when they are speaking, or is it me going deaf? Purrs to that spoilt L Katt, keep that pecker up Penny :) and take care all.

Hi, everyone - another flying visit because I'm taking a tea-break after doing the ironing and thought I should say hello. It's a lovely day here - sunny and quite warm despite a breeze. LK has been in and out all morning - I get the impression she doesn't quite believe how nice it is!!! Neither do I, come to that. We're off to a friend's house for supper tonight to celebrate her OH's birthday and I'm wondering if it's warm enough to wear my one and only summer dress or if that's casting too many clouts for March
I said I'd take a birthday cake with me and it's just occurred to me that I hope they're not going to be disappointed that I didn't actually make it but got it from the supermarket. Ho,hum - it's actually far nicer than anything I can produce; for some reason I'm just not good at cakes.
Take care all and keep well. Back here next week sometime..

Morning Penny and all, its a beautiful day wish you could join us for doggie walkies Penny, never mind plenty hugs around for you, and purrs for pussie too.
Hope you had a good evening Andere, we are waiting for a slice of cake, where is it? All those birdies in the rookery will be planning an egg laying programme so watch out Penny, they'll be hungry. Having roast Lamb today have had it stashed in the freezer a month, thought I'd give him a treat. Keep your pecker :) up Penny and take care Andere and all.

Just read about your shoulder Penny, whatever next, please be careful how you go :grouphug:

Not gone yet, OH decided he wanted his usual shut eye first. Forgot, we had roast pork today cooked on a bed of apple and topped with demerar sugar. Followed by cooked apple, blueberries and cream. As the young lawn man brought more apples theother day, have to use them up, put a load in the freezer but now, no more room. cheers Penny
