Hi Dita and all

Hi all - mixed sunshine and cloud today and it's definitely getting colder. Radio weatherwoman this morning was talking about possible snow in showers this afternoon / evening. EEk! It's supposed to be spring!! Lucy K keeps getting tempted outside by the sunny spells and then galloping hoe again when she realises how cold it is. Purrs to windblown doggies, anyway.
Got nothing planned today except a stack of ironing unless I can find something more interesting to do instead. I spent 90 minutes on the phone trying to get through to my GP surgery this morning. All I needed was an appointment for a 'review' of my BP pills which they insist on doing every year to 18 months. When I finally got through, the first date they could offer me was 28 April - more than 5 weeks away. Unbelievable. I gather it's just about the same everywhere so there's no point in trying to change to another surgery. Which reminds me, best wishes to your OH, Penny.
Hope the house is looking good now, Dita?

Hi Penny, Andere and all, what a day anyway here now, window cleaner was at the door, workmen needed a cuppa then dived off to Tesco, just returned.
Doggie been in garden today for a game of football instead of walkies, thanks for hugs Penny she loves the garden now its drying out after all the mud. Seems L Katt cannot make her mind up to stay out or in. How maddening Andere having to spend all that time on the phone to book for a review, even worse when you finally got through thats a long time to wait. Have you been bread baking Penny for your young man gardener, was thinking when in our garden I do wish I had someone to come and sort ours out now and again. Anyway tea to take care of now, keep that chin up Penny :) and take care Andere and all.

Morning Penny and all, Sun earlier but now it cloudy with quite a chill in the air, doggie walk was very warming because of those hugs Penny, thanks. Purrs to L Katt, Trixie. Our house still has scaffolding and there is still a little work to be completed, however they have started removing scaffolding from the houses across the road so next week should find things coming to an end, there is still electric and gas pipes etc to be replaced. Hope you still keeping your chin up Penny :) and take care all.

Morning all, sunny but a bit chilly today. Hope hugs and kisses arrive in time to enjoy the weather. For some reason, a very disturbed night. Odd how these days happen. Out for lunch today, if you remember we should have had it last Sunday but OH left booking too late. Usually very good so will let you know what happens today. Take care all and have a good day. Get plenty of rest today Dita, ready to see the finish of the job tomorrow or whenever. Hope you aching limb is getting easier Andere. cheers Penny

Hi Penny and all, enjoy your lunch today Penny, your hugs went down well on doggie walk this morning, thankyou from this little tail wagger. I get those sort of restless sleep nights as well dont know why, could be our day to day living combined with the anxieties we get throughout that day and they lay heavy on our minds, almost the same as going to bed after a heavy meal and our stomachs unable to cope with it. :) that maybe a whole lot of rubbish I have just written :) Hope Pussies enjoying a run in the sun. Keep your chin up Penny :) and all.

Hi, all - what a strange day! Alternate black skies and seriously heavy rain then cloudless blue and sunshine ... weird. Poor LK got caught out in the latest short, sharp shower and was Not Amused in the way only a cat can be! Cold, wet fur rubbed around my ankles for revenge...
We're having a quiet stay at home day; I'm catching up on emails and paperwork; OH is sitting with legs elevated because his 'other' leg, the one that didn't have a problem before, has now broken out in a mess of flaky, weepy skin .... Oh, heavens! Is there no end to it? Just when things were starting to look better and we were both looking forward to planning holidays and having our normal lives back and maybe even starting house-hunting in the summer. He's much better at hiding his feelings than I am but we're both pretty depressed and hoping we can head off another bout of leg trouble before it really gets started.
On a more positive note - thanks, my knee is much better so long as I don't do anything that twists it. It gets a little stiff if I sit still too long but is definitely improved. How's your shoulder, Penny? Hope you're enjoying your postponed lunch, by the way? We'll be having a very sensible and healthy fish stew tonight to make up for the hugely cholesterol heavy brekky this morning.
Newly dried out puss asks me to send purrs to people, pussycats and little doggies. :)

Morning Dita and all, hope all is going well. Hugs and kisses on the way. Do hope OH is improving Andere. what a worry. Must be the time of year for us all to have worries. Worn out already, had to get up earlier than usual, OH arranged for young gardener/handyman to come in early as there is a lot to do. At the moment he is clearing the roof of winter bits from birds and trees etc. What a job. Can see I am going to feel stressed by evening, think I will go back to bed. Take care all and enjoy the day. cheers Penny

Morning Penny and all, think your place will be finished before ours, our gutterings are full of pebbles, the floor and paths around the house covered with debris too, we have 15 bags of very small pebbles in the shed and 4 in the backyard, they have given us those and they will come in handy later. Had lovely sunny doggie walk your hugs helped Penny. Hope your hubby improves quickly Andere, must be uncomfortable for him. Keep your pecker up Penny :) dont let em get to ya, and take care all.

Morning Dita, hope all goes well at the clinic. Hugs a bit late today, hope they still warm up and kisses for pussies who I am sure won't venture far today. OH in as stroppy mood. Must be the weather. I insisted I go out this p.m. run out of bread for birds, and nearly all seed gone. Trouble is they don't have time to fly round for food as they are nesting and are required at home. One grey squirrel has decided to join the throng each morning now. Hope all is going well your end Andere. Weather cold, wet and dull here so matches most moods I guess. Take care and keep warm. cheers Penny

Hi, all - late on parade today. Not that there's any exciting reason for that, just been busy with this-and-that other stuff. OH is about the same but seems quite cheerful; I'm the one who's turning into a total worry-guts. Lucy K has spent most of the day in her own bed but has just decided now that she wants to go out for an evening stroll. Rather her than me, it's freezing out there. I know what you mean about the birds, Penny. They're really busy here and were making such a lovely chorus this evening, it's great to listen to. Hope the clinic went OK, Dita. Hugs and purrs to all.

Good morning Penny, Andere and all. Dull here and cold plenty hugs needed for all of us today, L Katt on night prowls she got secrets going on Andere, clinic was not bad but he's to go to hospital for heart scan in a couple of weeks. Workmen sorting out bits and bobs at the moment, we supplying tea and biscuits to keep them going. Hope OH a bit sweeter today Penny, men are a pain no wonder we are all nervous wrecks. May go and have a bit of a shop at Tesco they have an offer for some kitchen ware and I have enough stamps for a Roasting Pan which looks good quality. Keep your chin up Penny :) take care Andere and all.
